Bev Belshaw

Bev has been an artist, living and working in Wales since 1984 and enjoys sharing creative experiences with others. The journey continues to be meaningful, reinforced by her MA in Art Therapy which has validated the important role art plays culturally and within herself, through the universality and uniqueness of artistic expression.

Silk painting has often been a preferred medium and a catalyst for letting go of visual boundaries, influencing Bev's explorative use of media, which includes her love for making mosaics. This in turn has influenced her interest in mixed media and an openness to where the process may take her. Inspiration starts with anything that is balanced, beautiful and full of life. Natural beauty is often central. Her work often contains elements of flow, repetition and light.
