Jacqueline Smith

Jacqueline studied Fine Art and enjoys experimenting with different types of media. She enjoys experimenting with pen, ink, pastel and photography, and now wool too. Jacqueline taught Art and Drama for 20 years before escaping to the mountains. Her first love is nature and its everchanging landscape and light. She loves to play with colour and black and white to explore the shapes of the landscape.

Jacqueline has always travelled to mountainous areas on holidays and finally managed to live among them. Snowdonia has proved to be the best creative place for her. She now runs a B&B, Bod Gwynedd, in Betws-y-Coed with her husband, and gets out regularly to walk, cycle and explore new places in the mountains and along the coast for inspiration.
