Gill is a professional Welsh artist, living and working in Snowdonia, North Wales. After studying fine art at Cardiff College of Art, she moved to London to pursue a career in craft as a gilder and carver. She returned to painting in 2000 and now paints full time.
She is a member of the North Wales Society of Fine Art and also exhibits in open exhibitions in Wales and the North west and she won the People's Choice award at the Royal Cambrian Academy Open in 2016.
Gill aims to capture the wild landscape of Snowdonia, sculpted by the forces of wind, rain and ice, and the surprisingly vivid colours of blue-green glacial lakes and rock-strewn, grassy moraines. There is an intensity to this landscape, an untamed wildness that is both alluring and dangerous. She is fascinated by its illusion of permanence which belies its violent volcanic past and 450 million year journey to a become such a magnificent place.

Rwyf yn artist broffesiynol Cymreig, sy'n byw a gweithio yn Eryri, Gogledd Cymru. Ar ôl astudio celfyddyd gain yng Ngholeg Celf Caerdydd, symudais i Lundain i ddilyn gyrfa mewn crefftau fel gilder a cherfiwr. Dychwelais i baentio yn y flwyddyn 2000, ac rwyf yn awr yn peintio llawn amser.
Rwy'n aelod o Gymdeithas Celfyddyd Gain Gogledd Cymru. Rwyf hefyd yn arddangos mewn arddangosfeydd agored yng Nghymru a'r Gogledd Orllewin ac wedi ennill gwobr Dewis y Bobl yn arddangosfa Agored y Royal Cambrian Academy yn 2016.
Fy nod yw portreadu'r tirwedd wyllt Eryri, wedi'u cherflunio gan rymoedd gwynt, glaw a rhew, a'r lliwiau llachar o lynnoedd rhewlifol gwyrddlas a marianau glaswelltog. Mae dwyster i'r dirwedd hon, gwylltineb sydd yn hudolus ac yn beryglus. Rwyf wedi'n hudo gan ei rhith o sefydlogrwydd sy'n cuddio ei gorffennol folcanig, a'i thaith 450 miliwn o flynyddoedd i ddod yn le mor brydferth.
