Nick Coldham MA

Nick spent most of his childhood in the Aberdyfi area of Snowdonia where he developed his passion for drawing and painting. After a very thorough grounding in Fine Art & Sculpture on a two year foundation course at Chester School of Art he went on to gain a first class BA (Hons) degree from Wolverhampton Polytechnic, followed by a Masters Degree in Design at Manchester Polytechnic.

Between 1983 and 2007 Nick worked in London as a designer, creating a wide range of commercial concepts for the retail and leisure industry including limited-run products, furniture, restaurants, hotels, pubs and shops, culminating in 6 years operating a successful design consultancy.

In 2007 he moved back to North Wales to focus on his art, and now paints professionally. Nick is the joint owner of ArtWorks Aberdyfi.
