Kirsty makes all her ceramics from her small home studio in Deganwy. She came to North Wales in 1998 to train as a secondary art and outdoor activities teacher and never left. Fast forward 20 years and by chance Kirsty stumbled on ceramics. It’s a common love story but from the first throw on a potter’s wheel she was hooked. Obsessed. Infatuated. Within weeks of that first throw Kirsty set up a studio in her home and has not stopped since.
She works in small batches and one-off pieces. Keeping things simple and minimal is Kirsty’s style. Making functional durable stoneware homeware is what makes her jump out of bed every morning.
All her tableware items are dishwasher and food safe, however, it is recommended that you hand wash with care.
Kirsty is happy to discuss commissions.
