Lindi Kirwin

I was born in 1959 in Bowdon, Cheshire; I was always encouraged by my art teacher at high school (William Ralph Turner 1920 - 2013) to fulfil my destiny to become a professional artist as art was my core strength from a young age.

With over forty years’ experience in art, education and health, I was always running my self-employed art business (Lindi - Fine Art) parallel with previous jobs but decided to go full-time in my studio many years ago.

I’m primarily self-taught; I describe myself as a multi-disciplinary artist using vibrant colours and textures in my paintings as well as producing bespoke hand-painted mirrors and a love of drawing. Much of my work is based on nature and figurative art, however, I am diverse regarding subject matter as my eclectic-skilled work is sought by the Private, Commercial and the Public sectors, therefore you will notice a range of styles. Having gained multi awards; I have sold and worked closely with eminent clients and am widely published and working to commissions is very much a part of what I do, from small paintings to statement piece paintings for large walls!

Furthermore, I am a qualified Creative Therapist and when time allows, I hold private art classes and demonstrations. Many of my designs are on merchandise, such as velvet cushions; upholstery; glass coasters; indoor/outdoor garden furniture; while also offering Fine Art prints of selected paintings.
