Jackie Davies

Living in North Wales gives Jackie ample opportunity to paint the surrounding landscape. She finds the manner in which light falls through trees, on hills and especially on water to be inspirational along with the constantly changing cloud formations.

Working in both acrylic and pastel, Jackie finds whether a painting works or not it is always a totally absorbing process. Along with her garden, the peaceful retreat of her little art studio is what kept her sane during lockdown.

For Jackie, painting is its own reward. The appreciation of others, she says, is a bonus.
