Melanie Quilter

Melanie lived on Anglesey as a young teen and moved to America at age 20. Living in the Rocky Mountains of Utah for 9 years and self building her first home with her husband. During this time she gained a love for the great outdoors, the majestic mountains, canyons and far reaching lakes. She developed a keen eye for nature and her surroundings. Returning to Wales in 2001 Mel raised her five children in their family home set in tranquil woodlands near Betws-y-Coed.

A self taught artist, Mel paints most days and her subjects are what she gleans from the nature surrounding her. She has an affinity with trees, water and animals.
